Bridge Through the Currents

$0.00

I've been reflecting on the title of my painting, currently on view at Illuminations Gallery. Originally titled Navigating the Wave, the piece has sparked new interpretations for me as it sits in the gallery space. With its layered blue-greens and the city scape of the New York bridge in the distance, I've begun to see it less as a static image and more as a moment of transition—a visual metaphor for navigating uncertainty. I'm considering retitling it Bridge Through the Current to better capture this emotional and symbolic movement, or perhaps simply New York Bridge, to ground it more firmly in place. The shift in title is a way of inviting viewers to see the painting as a journey, not just a view.
