Untold Stories
Reality & Imagination
We all carry stories about who we are, where we come from, and how we see the world. Some are shaped by memory and experience; others by imagination or the meanings we give to ordinary events. Untold Stories explores these personal narratives through a combination of expressive realism, abstraction, and symbolic imagery. Familiar figures and objects appear in unexpected relationships, suggesting stories that are never fully revealed. Rather than offering a single interpretation, the paintings leave room for viewers to recognize, question, or imagine stories of their own.
“We tell ourselves stories in order to live.”
— Joan Didion, The White Album (1979)
