Join us for HERSTORY, an art reception on Friday, March 20, from 5–8 PM at In Fine Line Gallery (LCCCA). This group exhibition features women artists from Santa Barbara and the Los Angeles area working across painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, and photography.

Celebrate Women’s History Month and join me during the 1st Thursday Art Walk to experience my artwork in three different locations. Each space offers a different way to encounter the work—through story, symbolism, and presence—while revealing the many layers of my artistic practice. I’m especially honored to be showing at Art & Soul Gallery for the first time as an atelier artist. Make an evening of it, explore each location, and discover how the work shifts in dialogue with its surroundings.

A pop-up show of 350 individual artworks is open to all local artists for creations 12 inches by 12 inches in size. Ready to Hang presents a unique opportunity to see new works by our entire community of artists in one show.

Abstract Art Collective at the Faulkner Gallery
The Abstract Art Collective (AAC) presents its latest exhibition at Santa Barbara’s historic Faulkner Gallery, showcasing a vibrant range of contemporary abstract works by regional artists. Among them, Danuta Bennett received Second Place in the People’s Choice Awards for her distinctive vision and emotional depth. The show celebrates the freedom of form, color, and imagination that defines today’s abstract art movement.
2025 Santa Barbara Studio Artists Open Studios Tour
Labor Day weekend 2025, Santa Barbara artist Danuta Bennett opened her Arcadia Studio to the public as part of the 24th Annual Santa Barbara Studio Artists Open Studios Tour. Visitors were invited to explore the 28 artists’ latest works.
On the Edge – 2025 Tri-County Juried Exhibition at Westmont Museum of Art
The On the Edge exhibition at the Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art showcases outstanding artists from Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo counties in a juried celebration of contemporary creativity. Featuring works that push boundaries in concept, material, and emotion, the show captures the vibrant artistic pulse of California’s Central Coast and includes Danuta Bennett’s exploration of symbolism, architecture, and the psychology of place.
The 3rd Annual An Artful Affair at Riven Rock
Thirteen artists were featured at the event, including Andrea Anderson, Danuta Bennett, Rick Delanty, Rick Garcia, Kevin Gleason, Wyllis Heaton, Annie Hoffman, Ray Hunter, Chloe Hourdequin, Craig Nelson, Ann Sanders, Nina Warner, and Ralph Waterhouse.
Book Signing Event And Exclusive Interview
A standing-room-only crowd filled The Voice Gallery in La Cumbre Plaza to celebrate the publication of History of Psychology Through Symbols, a two-volume set by local psychologist Dr. James Broderick, illustrated by artist Dr. Danuta Bennett, published by Routledge. The Interview was moderated by Maria McCall.

Artists Ralph Waterhouse, Ann Sanders, Chris Potter, Patricia Post, John Iwerks, Ray Hunter, Chris Chapman, Danuta Bennett, and Andrea Anderson showcased their works for sale at the historic Theatre House—one of only three original structures still standing on the McCormick’s Riven Rock Estate.
