Drawings by Danuta Bennett

“To draw, you must close your eyes and sing” Pablo Picasso

I believe that through my use of expressive realism I give an overview of my creative self, but at the same time I leave some room for the viewer to develop their own emphatic connections with my art. In my drawings I use a mixture of drawing tools, from color pencil, graphite, charcoal and whatever I can find in my studio. I create images that are not only representations of my past, present, and future, but also my inner and outer worlds. See more of my drawings by exploring my series.
